The Pink-necked Green Pigeon (Treron vernans) is a medium-sized pigeon, with a distinctive appearance that varies between males and females. The males of this species have a colourful plumage of orange, pink and lavender-grey, while females are mainly green in colour. Unlike many other species of pigeons, Pink-necked Green Pigeons are comparatively less vocal and prefer to forage in pairs or smaller flocks.
