The Rock Pigeon (Columba livia) is a medium-sized and is an introduced species. It is a highly opportunistic bird, thus its proliferation in urban spaces. These birds can be seen in a variety of colourations, including white, blonde, brown, albino, and patchy – the wide variety a direct result of domestication through selective breeding in the past.
